Credit
If you would like to open an account with us please fill out our credit application. Credit is extended at the sole discretion of Metcor Manufacturing. Typical requirements for the extension of credit include three current and satisfactory trade references and one bank reference. You may also choose to pay by Visa, Master Card or American Express.
Order Acknowledgement
All orders are subject to acceptance. Orders will be acknowledged to the customer once entered, to serve as confirmation of items ordered, quantities ordered, special conditions (if any), and pricing. It is the customer's responsibility to review the acknowledgement promptly and carefully to ensure that there are no errors, and to let us know immediately if there are. Changes may not be possible once an order has entered the manufacturing process.
Service Accounts
For orders less than $100.00 net, a $10.00 service charge will apply.
Order Cancellation
Our product offering is hand crafted and made to order. We regret that in most cases, once an order is in the manufacturing process it cannot be cancelled. Should an exception be made, a cancellation charge will apply.
Standard Payment Terms
Net 30 with established credit. A service charge of 1 ½% per month on the unpaid balance will be added to the unpaid balance and may be compounded each billing cycle if payments are not made according to terms. Costs associated with the collection of past due amounts, including, but not limited to, reasonable attorney's fees, shall be added to amounts past due. All payments to be made to Metcor Mfg. and Mailed to: PO Box 73600, Los Angeles, Ca 90003.
Sales Tax
Prices shown do not include sales, use, or other taxes. The customer is required to pay any applicable taxes unless a valid resale certificate is provided from the "ship-to" state or province.
FOB: All orders are shipped on an FOB factory, Los Angeles, Ca.
Shipping
Standard shipping via "best way", which is typically UPS Ground, however larger volume orders may be shipped via common carrier. These charges will be prepaid and charged to the ordering party. Expedited shipping service will be provided if requested, but remains the responsibility of the ordering party. Shipping elsewhere will be via the "best way" possible as mutually agreed upon prior to shipping.
Warranty
All merchandise is manufactured in accordance with out high standards and is warranted to be free from defect of material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of delivery, under normal use, and in service under conditions for which the merchandise was designed. During this warranty period. we will repair at our option or replace, free of charge, such merchandise as shall be proved to be defective. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from accident, alterations, misuse, tampering negligence, abuse or shipping. Because of natural variations of which we have no control, this warranty does not extend to color matching or color except as specified in order confirmation. ALL OTHER EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING ANY WARRANRY OF MERCHANTAVILITY OR FITNESS FOR AN PARTICULAR PUROSE) ARE HERBY EXCLUDED. THE FORGOING SHALL CONSTITUTE THE SOLE AMD EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF CUSTOMER.
Return Policy
All Returns must be factory authorized. All returns are subject to restocking charge of 20% unless due to factory error. NO RETURNS ACCEPTED AFTER 30 DAYS. Special or printed merchandise is nor subject to return unless factory error. Merchandise returned without factory authorization number will not be accepted. All returns must be in the original boxes and unused.
Cleaning & Care
Cleaning should be done with a damp soft cloth. Metcor will not be responsible for damages resulting from the use of any chemical material.
Shortage Claims
Claims for shortages must be made within 14 days after receipt of shipment.
Freight Damage or Shortage Claims
Open cartons immediately! If damage is found, do not destroy carton or container. Notate, in full information on damages and / or shortage on carriers copy and your copy of freight bill. Customers should file damage claim with transport company responsible for the shipment. We ship the safest and most economical way.
